I've been wanting to showcase Children's Lit on my blog off / on for the past two years, during which time I've garnished a bit of a backlogue of books I've been wanting to read. You'll find them referenced on my Book Blogger's Backlogue List similar to how some of my #SummerReads featured on my #20BooksOfSummer are also cross-listed. I like to read in batches of readerly interest at times - thus, this Summer I decided to spilt my focus in half - one batch for wicked reads of Summer and one batch for celebrating the writers of Children's Literature!

A few of these titles are sequels or continuation of series already in-progress, therefore, I will be re-reading a few books ahead of the stories listed on here in order to re-affirm my presence in these lovely worlds! The books I am referencing are as follows:

* Time and Again by Deborah Heal (book one)
* Uncovering Cobbogoth by Hannah L. Clark (book one)
* Intangible by C.A. Gray (book one)
* Invincible by C.A. Gray (book two)
* The Strength of Ballerinas by Nancy Lorenz

Two of these selections I had hoped to read in the Spring before my allergies took over my life and wrecked my reading plans! Those are the lovely Jinn novels via World Weaver Press! I am also including a new release by a bookish friend of mine on Twitter, who also happily shares his bookish life via his own blog: Daniel Riding of whom has published a lovely story about 'naughty cats'.

It is not lost on me a LOT of the titles I've been awaiting to read are either Fantasy or Historical in nature! One of the books I am reading is actually a title I worked on as a betareader (Spies Like Me) which I am looking forward to seeing in final draft! More than one of the stories I have been waiting to read for a long time - as life had it's share of ups and downs leading me away from the stories themselves until I could re-enter their worlds. This Summer is definitely the Summer I get to redeem my bookish heart!
