My Favourite Historical Fiction Novels of the last Twelvemonth!

I have always been captured by well-written historical fiction novels due to the dexterity of a writer's ability to allow us to soak into their worlds through the lens of the historical past! I appreciate the mindfulness of historical detail as much as I appreciate a knitted accuracy to the biographical figures that walk off the page when I am reading a biographical fiction! I enjoy being able to step back through the veils of time itself, enter into worlds that are so far removed from our own living spheres as to acquaint myself with a previous age entirely! I love writers who fuse their narratives together with the mindset of a wordsmith, whose palette of words elect to ignite a fever of excitement with each turn of the page! Joyfully giving me an engaging story with the pulse of the language that is known during the period specific to the story! I love finding new authors whose conviction of characters and of time therein, set us on a journey towards further empathy and understanding for the eras which proceeded our own.

I'd love to learn if a book on this list (or on the sequel) encouraged you to pick it up and read; if this happened, please drop by my book blog and/or tweet me! I'd love to hear your own reactions to the text you found inside the bindings of the printed book!
